In my current role, I co-lead YETI’s national pitching strategy and serve as the brand’s Endemic/Community PR Lead.

I’ve formed trusted relationships with national media contacts, endemic editors, local reporters, gear reviewers and niche bloggers. My careful approach has resulted in hundreds of earned media hits in online, print and broadcast coverage for YETI and other clients.

Media trust me with story ideas and access to information and expert sources. Spokespeople are confident in my ability to prepare messaging and media training prior to interviews and press events. As a result, contacts from outlets such as AdAge, Business Insider, CNN, Fast Co, Forbes, GMA, Men’s’ Journal, TODAY, Wall Street Journal and beyond consistently look to me for story ideas.

YETI

2020 – Current

I specialize in brand storytelling, creative pitching, product placement and press trip execution. My approach leaves media with a lasting and true “YETI” experience. I connect our brand with new audiences, demographics and global markets while continuing to maintain a foundation within our core communities in the outdoor space.

Since joining the team in 2020, I’ve assisted in the growth of earned media impressions at least 3x YOY, consistently introduce our brand to at least 15 new media outlets and their readers each quarter, and have led ten (and counting) unique press experiences, including a float through the Westwater Canyon in Utah, a scramble in the Flatirons of Boulder, Colorado and a Reds fishing trip at the end of the world: Venice, Louisiana.

I also secure on-screen opportunities for our product. In the last year, I coordinated placement for YETI in HBO Max’s The Righteous Gemstones, NBC’s American Auto, Superstore and St. Denis Medical (all full-series placement), and feature films No Hard Feelings, White Men Can’t Jump - and two additional films that have not yet been released.

2015 – 2020

Outside of work, I take full advantage of the active outdoor community in Austin. An ideal morning is spent on a sunrise run around Lady Bird Lake, at Zilker Park with my dog, Shiloh, or plunging into Barton Springs Pool.

When the temps hit the 100s, you can find me at Alamo Drafthouse, Austin Bouldering Project or the local bookstore (or the neighborhood brewery, depending on time and day).

Promoted four times in my five years at Finn Partners, I launched my PR career by directing and supporting the development and execution of strategic PR plans for corporate clients, non-profit organizations, healthcare companies and consumer brands.

During this time, I cultivated relationships with local and national reporters and influencers, which led to placing brand-focused stories and product news in national outlets such as USA Today, the Associated Press, Wall Street Journal, Interior Design, Travel + Leisure and Southern Living for clients like Tractor Supply Company, Franke, Nashville Zoo, the Gatlinburg CVB and Clarity / Plantronics.

In 2019, I led three PRSA-Award winning campaigns for two different clients, Nashville Zoo and Gatlinburg CVB.
